Marinated Tri-Tip Steak with Chimichurri Sauce
Ingredients :
1 lb tri-tip steak
1/4 cup Traditional 18yr aged Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbsp kosher salt
2 tsp black pepper
1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
3 Tbsp Oregano White Balsamic Vinegar
1/2 cup Cilantro & Roasted Onion Infused Oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp black pepper
Pour balsamic vinegar over steak and coat thoroughly. Cover and let marinade for an hour at room temperature.
Whisk parsley, oregano balsamic, cilantro & roasted onion oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper together and cover. Let sit for 30 minutes.
Preheat nonstick grill pan to medium high heat.
Season tri-tip steaks liberally with kosher salt and black pepper and place in grill pan, cook to medium doneness. Approximately 6-8 minutes per side depending on thickness. Remove steaks from pan and cover loosely with foil for 15 minutes so juices can redistribute.
Drizzle chimichurri sauce over steaks and serve immediately!
